Concept Brief

Completing your Concept Brief is the first step towards receiving a grant through the Women’s Fund of Mississippi. Before beginning your Concept Brief, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the Application Process and Areas of Focus.

Deadline to Submit: Thursday, September 6, 2012

  • We prefer that all applicants use the online form below, but if you would rather fill out a MS Word Doc version of the Concept Brief and email it back, that is acceptable as well.
  • Applicants with approved Concept Briefs will receive a Request for Proposal outlining requirements. If the Women’s Fund requests a full proposal from your organization, you will be notified by Thursday, September 27, 2012.

    The Women's Fund is operating under five (5) areas of focus. Please review the focus area details and select one or more appropirate areas of focus.
    *Indicates Pathways to Opportunity grantmaking initiative. These are two-year grants that will not support advocacy activities. Please read the Grantmaking section of the Women’s Fund website to learn more about the differences between these grants and the grants for Focus Areas #1 and #2.
  • About Your Organization

    This section provides you an opportunity to tell us about your organization.
    The Women’s Fund will only consider applications from nonprofits deemed tax exempt by the IRS.
  • Briefly describe your organization. Please limit your response to 100 words.
  • List those individuals who will be engaged with the project and their qualifications. Please limit your response to 100 words.
